Howdy Chatbot fans, welcome back. Let’s talk about the attachment widget, which is as it sounds very simple. you’re gonna upload an attachment, and this is the type of thing where you could give your users a case study, or an e-book, or a pricing matrix, or a privacy policy printout, or an image that they can download, or whatever it is.
This is why I want to go through each one of these widgets individually. If you didn’t know about the attacking widget, you might have had to think– you might have had– you might have thought you had to send them a link to the PDF, or whatever maybe.
That’s not the case. You could do it with an attachment widget.
This is a great thing to use after a forum, or even after a quick question, whatever it may be. Again, as you understand more about these widgets, you understand that the possibilities become broader and broader and broader, so we click more to open up the next panel of widgets. We’re gonna click attachment, and we’re gonna click to upload an attachment.
I’m gonna upload just a PDF here. I have it in my downloads folder. Open that up. Give it a second for it to actually upload there it is.
Once it saves it’ll be white, and now let’s go ahead and test this page because the favorite thing we could do is test our Chatbots. We love testing our Chatbots. let’s see how it looks here, here it is, here it comes, here’s a great– that’s awesome to hear, and here is my eBook, and I could just click from Facebook Messenger and download the eBook right there to my computer.
Beautiful it’s such a great way of sending files attachments. I don’t wanna keep repeating myself. When you’re creating value driven Chatbot flows, and you’re collecting leads, and you’re giving them something in exchange, think about how your dated content structure works in your landing pages.
You give me this information, in exchange, I’ll give you this piece of content. You could do that in a natural language setting with humor, with personality, with customizability personalization to the person specifically as if you were talking to them, and as if you know them, as if they were your friend, and then you could give them the same value.
Again, it’s on their own time and a fully mobile optimized experience and the engagement rates are way way higher.
